Very pretty but i am certainly glad it is you dusting all that stuff and not me. I am a minimalist as far as decor goes.

I just got back from BL and was able to find your bird there, Nana. I bought the last one they had in the pose like yours. There were several on the shelf in the other pose, with their head looking down. I wanted one of that style, too, but the painting was poorly done on most of them, so I decided to wait for now.

Thanks so much for letting me know where to find it. It's surprisingly large. I really like the colors. I also saw several other ceramic birds, even some with pierced scroll designs, but the quality was not all that great.

SHOPR, so glad you found "your" bird in the pose you wanted. I, too, went to BL yesterday to look for the bird in the other pose. No success. But I did buy two plant hangers (which I'll use for VPH spheres), a stone bird and a different ceramic bird (light blue with piercings).

HH, I might have gone overboard. I spent a decade caring for/supporting sick and dying family members (both parents, my FIL and my younger brother). During that time, I had no energy or motivation to decorate. Now, I have time to do things I want to do and decorating is one of them. I'm having fun and even the dusting is okay.
