@Kachina624 Just goes to show because I love the lamp and like the contrast of the green with all the pretty blues... And, of course, we aren't seeing the entire room to know if that color is picked up somewhere else, which I suspect it is... I guess this is one of those times when that old different strokes thing applies...

I like the room, sans the drapes.  And while I find the lamp attractive, I don't think the green works here.  I've seen greens and blues together that I love, but not in this case.

Reminds me of a home near the water. Decorated kinda upscale nautica It's pretty and inviting.

@stevieb Love the whole darn thing BUT I would change the lamp to a pale or a grass green, that shade is too dark but LOVE the rest of it, even the mirror. Love the furniture!

I would change the drapes to a very very pale blue or no drapes at all.

Love the rest of the room as is.

I'd get rid of the ugly fringe on the sofa, the floral patterns and the green lamp.  I could live with it then.

I like blue but I don't like it used in home interiors.  The only thing I like here is the ceramic pig.  And maybe that table in the lower right corner.

I’m not really liking the furniture & accessories in this room. There’s too many prints and patterns for me. I don’t like the color or fringe on the sofa or the prints on the chairs or pillows. The drapes would work better in a room with fewer prints IMO, but I wouldn’t choose them for myself.
