A French country feast for your eyes. So pretty even if you're not a traditionalist.

This is so far removed from what I prefer for myself but I absolutely love the dishes and they fit in perfectly with this decor.

Not my style (or favorite color) either...but still very pretty!

My Mom had those stupid blue Christmas collectible plates hung up on her dining room wall. I have some of them stored away and gave some to a relative. Those blue plates are very pretty though.
What I really don't like is blue walls. For some reason (actually I know why) I associate blue walls with poor people. When we built our home in 2007, the builder assigned us a decorator. I picked out gorgeous blue granite for our bathroom counters. There are also accent squares in the tile floor and in the shower. Those are very pretty and I love it. BUT, the decorator suggested blue walls, and for the life of me I don't know why I agreed. I have hated it ever since. Every year I swear I am going to have our bedroom and bathroom repainted, but have yet to do it. Maybe this year.

@shoptilyadropagain Me too, not my style at all but I found it very appealing and thought maybe others would too

Isn't that stunning? What a beautiful room. And here I thought I was just a blue "tolerator", not a lover. Who knew?! hahaha

@Puppy Lips. The walls are white.

I have Blue Danube China and some Blue Onion porcelain, a tad of Blue Willow and some other lesser known. I once had them in a breakfast area where I had similar furniture, Early American hutch and table with chairs, picked up at a flea market which a friend and I had painted white (not dry-brushed) but actually painted.
My wallpaper was that of blue and mauve flowers on a white ground. The home had a large picture window like this where the muttons were not painted but kept in the natural oak wood. Long ago in a house far from here.
I set the table with Blue Onion and stacked the Blue Danube in glass-front cabinets. Above the picture window I had a shelf made onto which I placed tea pots and so forth from the mixed other blue and white dishes, some of which was Flow Blue. Mine was similar but I admit I like the white walls much better than my wallpaper
