I am not a big floral person, but if this room is large, then I like it because it balances out......It is rather pretty, I think!

@coffee drinker  I like to watch House Hunters too and you are right.  It seems like eyes are rolled with the least bit of color or personalization that's been added to a house for sale.

Re: Blooming Dining Room

[ Edited ]

@nova  When we were selling our house, our agent told us to consider painting the dining room because the color might not appeal to potential buyers .  It was a rose color that WE liked.  I told her if the person who buys our house didn't like the color, I'd either reduce the price by $25 or buy them a gallon of paint.

Needless to say we left the DR as is.

ETA -- our powder room was wallpapered the kitchen and master bath had boarders.  Didn't hear any complaints.

The colors don't bother me as much as the style of the artwork, which I don't like.

I love tha---t but it is a little over powering as one huge wall--love the cushions and maybe line the cabinet with it and maybe even drapes or curtains. the colors and flowers are my cup of tea tho.

Nope.  Not for me.  Too wild and bright.

I like the colors but as much as I love flowers I do not like wearing more than a sprinkle of florals or looking at them in furniture/wall settings. After a week of looking at this, it would become annoying and I would find myself spending as little time as possible in this room.

I would like a softer less brightly colored botanical wallpaper.

Nope. The wallpaper is overbearing. I’m a no wallpaper kind of girl.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
