How far away from the house are they? I think I have mine about 10 feet away. Also, if there is any other lights out there they will wash out.

I just got mine also in blue and I think the brightness is fine.I have a street light near my house. The lights are even coming through my sheer curtains and projecting on my walls inside.

I guess we did get duds, we put ours out about 10 feet from house they out spread out about 10 feet and can barely see them on brick and have very large window in front can't even tell they are on from inside house. Back they go!

We don't do any outside lighting, but when you said 'brick', it made me wonder if these wouldn't work well on brick. I have seen the presentations, and never heard them say one way or the other, but maybe the fact that your house is brick is the reason they don't show up? Just a guess. Sorry they didn't work out. It is so disappointing when you think you have something that is going to work for you and it doesn't. Such a waste of time and energy.

My neighbor directly across the street has the green lights on her white birch tree and you can barely see them. It may be because the light is going through the tree. These lights may need a more solid background. We were both interested to see how these would look, and the results are very disappointing. I'm glad I didn't fall for them.

I got the green. My house is a medium-dark rusty colored brick and they look awesome! They even shine up into a tree we have in the back yard. They are about 15 ft from my house.

Re: Bliss lights!!! What are we doing wrong???????

We bought one blue light last year. The coverage is good only if it's close to the area you want seen. We bought another light this year which is supposed to cover more. We are going to put it on in the next few days. The problem we found is that when we were driving into the driveway/garage, you really need to be close to the house to see the light. We thought we'd be able to see it from down the street. Now, in all fairness, the street lights may be the problem.

Overall though, we do like them. The blue against our palo verde and mesquite trees look great.

I bought several sets at Home Depot for $19.95 each. They are white, and they move about looking like snowflakes. I like the movement far better than the fixed lights. We are very pleased with the lights and especially with the price.

The green lights are by far the best to get. I don't have Bliss, but the Improvement ones from hsn. They came yesterday & I plugged them in last night. Awesome. Plus, they have 3 different settings & a remote and both red & green.
