Lowes...Light Show Projection... Item #585908...$19.95

Long story as short as I can make it! Last year, I purchased 1 Bliss Light (green). I must say, THEY ARE AWESOME!! However, I have a big front yard and a big house. I really needed 3 to make it look good. The cost for 3 with shipping and tax, would be over 500 bucks, so I returned the 1 that I bought (sobs) and decided to go with "my usual" lights. Today, while at Lowes, I was looking at all the Christmas stuff (DH needed fertilizer) and I found something interesting. It's called Light Show Projection Item#585908..comes in blue or a red and green combo. They are LEDC not Laser. The cost is $19.95!..I bought one to try and I must say, I was very impressed. PLEASE be advised, they are NOT Bliss Lights, but for 20 bucks, they will do very nicely. They even "dance" like to new Bliss lights. LOVE the Bliss, but they are they are pricey for a short-term seasonal item. You can view the product at Lowes website. There is only 1 review and by coincidence the reviewer said he was looking for a cheaper alternative to Bliss and this was NOT it. I have to disagree. Obviously, for $20, they are not Laser Bliss Lights, but the effect is very similar. It is NOT exactly the same...HOWEVER, for about 90% less than the Bliss and a total yard display time of about 3 weeks, it looks fantastic!! Going back to get more.

I just thought I would pass it along..give it a try...save your receipt...if no likey, return it! You can always "invest" in the Bliss!

Thank you for the heads up. I, too, wanted to try Bliss Lights but couldn't justify the cost. For $20, I'll check out Lowe's. Woo Hoo.

Nice post, have6cats. I have always been intrigued by Bliss lights, and have read with interest, when people discuss them here. These sound like a nice, alternative. Do you know if these type of lights show up on a dark brick house, or do you have to have a light color sided home?

I have 6 cats too! Smile

Rose My house is medium khaki with cream and sort of mahogany colored trim. I bought thr red and green combo. The light points are very bright and looked very red and very green. Personally, I think you wouldn't have any problem with bricks. I would suggest trying one and see how it looks and if you like it. I just realized that I could purchase 8 of these for the cost of 1 Bliss......8 of these would blow my neighbors minds!!! I'm sure my house would be on the Christmas lights tour. LOL...HTH

Mary B

No surprise, they will look much better after dark! What color did you get?. I'm looking forward (I think) to your review. I hope you like them. If not, you can tell me what you think.....I can take it! In any case, Bliss or no Bliss, these are a very cool, very Holiday and are an easy way to cover a lot of area with very little effort and one plug!LOL

I would love to try these lights, but I am waiting for a clear light that comes across as snow flakes. I don't see why they can project colored lights and not clear.

Have6cats- we bought the green/red.

White snowflakes would be awesome, Perkup. Great idea!

DH hasn't decorated outside in years. I'm sure this will be great. Even DH is enthused about it. I'll let you know after dark how it looks.
