If you purchased, are you happy with it? Was installation easy, and were you satisfied with quality of the pictures? Im thinking about getting it, but reviews are mixed. Thank you

My husband bought these the last time they had them as a TSV, so we've had them for a while now.
Personally, I would not recommend them at all.
They are sporatic. Often they don't even begin to record until just before the person leaves view of the camera. Sometimes they don't even come on at all.
Most of the time, when I go to delete videos off my phone, I have to delete them 3 or 4 times. That is frustrating.
If you leave the house you don't get anything because, near as I can tell, you have to actually be at home to get anything.
I generally don't do apps, but had to install the app for this on my phone so I could help him get them set up. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and it was pretty easy to set them up. We have not been able to get the app set up and the cameras on his iPhone at all, to this day.
You can't install it on your computers, which I find ridiculous. I also find it ridiculous that you don't get the videos on your phone if you are outside your home network. That seems odd to me. It seems like I would really want to know if anybody is roaming around my property when I'm not home.
Those are most of my issues with them. We have 5 cameras around the house and he wants to get 2 more but I'm trying to discourage that. It's enough of a PITA with the 5 we have. Since he's not home most of the time he doesn't see what a hassle and how ineffective they are.

I got it when it was a TSV and I love it. I have one pointing from street to front door and another pointing right below front door. So it records when someone is walking up to the front door and the one above front door captures that they left my package or who is at the front door. I have nothing negative. I did have to move one camera because on windy days the oleander would set it off a lot.

I sent the Blinq back. Recorded after the event happened so basically WORTHLESS. The Ring doorbell is so much better.

I have the Arlo Pro 2 system mounted on my house. One shows the front door and side yard while the other one is over the garage / driveway area. I like this system, also installed on my Samsung 7 . They have rechargeable batteries but I also hard wired them so I dont have to climb a ladder to get to them. Good picture in both. The only problem I see is there is a 3-4 second delay to notify but not to record.

Missy1, you can view the Arlo from any computer or your phone. I have mine on my laptop and my phone.

This syseme will not work in areas where winter temp falls below -4 deg F...which means...the midwest and the north east...the northwest I would also assume......the batteries will fail in the cold weather and the camera slows down which means you wont' catch the problem when it happens. However, if you live south of these areas and north of where the summer temps are cooler than the upper limit...it should be ok...but, where is that?
