Blanket, comforter..

I live in cold Michigan. Am looking for a blanket, comforter what ever to keep warm without being weighed down. Northern Nights seem to have the monopoly on the blankets and etc. but have seen some reviews that were not very favorable. Don't care if it is a name brand or not. Needs to be warm and washable. Thanks for your comments in advanced!
