Black Friday Home Bargains

I braved the traffic and went to the mall today. Bath & Body Works was having a 3 for 3 deal, and they are also allowing stacking of coupons. I had two, $10 off coupons, so I ended up with six, 3-wick candles for $51. I thought that was a pretty good deal. Anyone else get any home-related bargains today? The mall was crowded, but not much more than any weekend during the holidays.

I've been stuck @ home all day, but I found a lighted star tree-topper on sale for 70% off, first finding it @ Wayfair, then going on to get it less expensively @ JC Penney with a coupon from RetailMeNot, and I'm happy with that. I have looked at many sale ads online all day, but that is the one that caught my eye since I have most of my xmas shopping already done at this point, since my familly will be celebrating xmas 2 weeks earlier than the rest of the country.

I had a hair appt then we went to the Y to swim but it was closed for maintainence. Actually has been closed since Tues evening, wonder what is going on.

I went to Home Depot for something else. but had to check out the BF deals. There in the back of the store was a small freezer on sale.

I have been casually looking at them because my side by side is just too small!

I thought about it as there were two left. Some guy came while I was standing there and took one. My mind then got made up as there was only one left.

My full intention was to put it on my back patio, but the directions said it was not appropriate for a garage or somewhere hot. So now I am going to rearrange some stuff in my kitchen area for it to have a new home inside.

I can't wait to get it in place and move into it. No more frozen things falling on my feet. I can also have room for a container of ice cream!

I also went to Target and score a pink sonic toothbrush for 50% off. It was also the last one, so i lucked out today.

Wanted to fo to BBW but I still have a huge stash of hand soaps from last year that will last me another year!

I stayed home and shopped online. My purchases were pretty boring but I got a really great deal from JCP - Biolage shampoo/conditioners for $10 ea - normally $23!!! And free S&H after $45. Bought enough to reach the $45 - I pretty much set for the year!!!

I wanted to go down the hill to Lowe's to pick up a few small poinsettias for 99 cts, good rayovac batteries for $6, and a live wreath. But....my car doesn't know how to ice skate on the road and the sleet, snow, freezing temps didn't relent.

I went to Pet Smart to buy wet food that was on sale and use all my coupons that was still good beside their $5 one. I found another one after I paid before I left the store and they took that too. I saw a calico cat there that I wo uld have loved to give a home to but thought it would not be fair one.for my rescue I brought home a few years ago who thinks she is a dog and follows me everywhere. The older cat doesn't want anything to do with her. While waiting I talked to a gal who had kitty faced slippers which I thought were cute so I went to Target to see and they were 40% off..

I was thrilled to get the Henrietta Hen egg cooker on hsn for only $11.95 (half price) with only 2.95 for shipping! that was the extent of my black Friday shopping LOL
