I thought a bird flew in.....schooch sound...I knew something landed....over behind my lamp..... It's a 2"+ beetle of some sort.

It's big.....then it fell behind and got covered in dust and had a heck of a time crawling up my book case....could not fly then.

Do they bite or sting?

I can't find it now as it's black on black.... I have never seen

one......

@cbrite It kind of looks like the beetle that was in my backyard a couple days ago.A palo verde root borer beetle. Their life span in less than a month and they are not harmful to humans.

I caught him and put him in a jar with twinkle lights, lol 💪

I felt kind of sorry for it when it got on it's back and could not get right side up. Like a turtle..... It is loud........I'm certainly not going to measure it. Ok, safe and sound.....

Gosh @Azcowgirl mine might be about as long........sighhhhhh / kinda sad. Good night.
