Best Sheets?

I am looking for sheets that are cool, crisp, soft and long wearing. The last sheets I bought that I really loved were an Amadeus set that the Q no longer sells. Tell me your opinions on brands, material, and thread count (not just from the Q), please. I find myself getting confused over "sateen" "egyption cotton" etc. Thanks!
