While I think it is a beautiful color, I think it would definitely need to be in a large room, with good lighting and maybe only on one wall.

 

I would definitely use it as a an accent color, it is very pretty!

That would depend.  I have a friend with a bedroom painted black.  It's a big room.  She has cherry furniture, which I know already sounds even darker, but she has ivory bedspread, lots of mirrors and ivory accessories. The room is all glass on one side which opens to an upstairs veranda.  It is gorgeous.

If you have a smallish bedroom, this color on the walls and a keen eye, you could make it into a little jewel box.  I don't like the room as depicted as the model but I could take a room that size and transform it into some fetching.
