Been busy washing windows, and ....

[ Edited ]

as usual I am late getting this chore done, lol. I have 4 more nearly floor to ceiling windows in my kitchen to do, then I will have all the public rooms done. Love the sparkle of clean windows.

Oh bless you. That is a chore I despise but love when it's done and the windows are clean.It's very frustrating here because the sprinklers for the landscaping get hit by the mowers which turns them  and end up "sprinkling" the windows , leaving them stained.And I hate hate hate having to clean it because it is recycled (cleaned?)sewage water. Anyway DH usually does them for me.

When we lived in Pittsburgh I had the kind of windows that you could clean the outside from inside.That was great. The worst is our sliding glass doors - 12 ft across and 8 ft tall.

Me too, especially when the outside also gets done.

We just had all the water main pipes replaced by the township, so with all that road work and the dirt and dust, they're pretty grimy now.  I can't wait to get out there with the hose.  I'm sure there will be rivers of mud running down the front of the house.

Mother Nature has been busy all day washing mine.  First with rain, then snow, then a rain/snow mix, now back to rain! It's a balmy 36 degrees, hope that she's enjoying herself!!!

@Snicks1

Congratulations on your hard work!   Well  done.

Uh, come on over for some uh, croissants, scones with tea?   Please don't mind that huge bucket of window cleaning supplies in each room, okay?   How did I sprain both arms?  Well, it was the oddest thing........

Bring that cute dog, too.

@151949, it's not my favorite job either, lol. And, ewww, recycled sewage water. My living/public areas are all on the 2nd floor of my split level home, so my windows are the tilt in type, except for the areas that have decking around them. My sliding doors are not quite as large as yours (9' wide x 8' tall) but extremely heavy. I agree, they are the worst.

@CelticCrafter, 2 years ago the city did some work in front of my home, the dust and dirt were incredible. I feel your pain. The "after" will be awesomely clean windows though.

@cancun08, wow, I am so sorry you are still having nasty weather. I thought it would never warm up where I am.
