Let me preface this by saying that I'm a warm-to-hot sleeper, so...

* year-round:  100% cotton

* warm/hot weather:  200 TC percale

* cool/cold weather:  300-400 TC sateen

@amyb

A few weeks ago, I bought the two patterns that were left available of H263964.  They are very nice sheets if anyone reading this wants to give them a try.  Will be sleeping on the seafoam fern tonight and when its time to wash them, I will change to the multi floral.

I prefer 100% cotton sheets.  I don't have many sets. I've got these 2 new sets mentioned above, plus 2 from Catherine Zeta Jones, you may remember when she sold them on QVC.  Now I have total 3.  I practically killed the Ashes of Roses sheets from washing and then putting right down on my bed to use again over and over and over. About 7 years of mostly sleeping on the same sheet set.  I finally had to say goodbye to it.  Still have the same CZJ set of sheets in Cream.

Anyway, only cotton for me.😄

@PhilaLady1 I have the multi floral too~so pretty! I gave the blue medallion as a gift, they love them too. I wish the seafoam fern went in my bedroom but it doesn't...as that's all they have left in Queen. I did see that multi floral had come back in the other day...but though I love them, I really wanted a different color, not a 2nd set of the same.

I really wish QVC would bring those back!! They just don't offer all the NN they used to. I had so many sheets, down comforters, pillows and even a featherbed from NN...still going strong.

Those CZJ sheets sound nice too.

Microfiber are hot in summer but haven't tried them in winter yet. I actually find flannel nice in summer as well as winter. Surprisingly they are not hot in summer. Maybe because they breathe.

Odd man out here it appears. But, I love microfiber sheets. They are soft and light and wear very well. And, then they are inexpensive. Serta ones I got from Q few years ago were the best ones, but also got a set from Wmart that's on our daybed and while they aren't sewn as well, they have worm well too. Just an individual preference.

I only like all cotton. I prefer sateen finish, but also like percale in the summer since they feel nice and crisp after washing.

Cotton!!!  I love the 680 thread count of Kirkland sheets and I use flannel in the winter.

I bought 100% linen sheets in the spring and have been very happy with them. They're not as soft as high thread count cotton sateen but they're sturdy and seem to be holding up well to washings. They don't wrinkle as much as I thought they would and don't take long to dry.

@brandiwine a question about the 680;Kirkland sheets...are they crisp like percale?  I have too many sets I have tried that aren't.  I was always curious about those.

I get all my sheets at Amazon. I only use black, and not easy to find elsewhere. It says “brushed microfiber linen” in description. Very soft - sort of brushed finish. Very nice.

I have a bunch of sets it will be years before I need to buy anymore.
