Nice view, but too much wood for me. I’m not a cabin person. I also would need to lighten the room up a bit so it’s not so dark. And, yes, like others have said, I need window treatments for sleeping even if the only visitors are wildlife.

This isn't my thing, but I totally understand how it might be someone else's thing.

I wouldn't like this as my primary residence, but maybe a second/vacation home. And I'd want something that would cover the windows at night. Enjoy the view in the day, but be private after dark. 

 

Take it from someone who lives rural and against the woods like that, people do wonder into places they have no business, and I could never sleep 'exposed' like that.
