I have a canopy bed but haven’t put the top on in a very long time.  A lot of work as they do gather dust.

Spiders were exactly the first thing I thought of when I saw that canopy.  I would be afraid they would climb up there and come down on the bed.  

I have a friend whose mother refuses to use a bed skirt because she's afraid spiders would use it to crawl onto the bed while she is sleeping.

Never liked canopied beds, nor the colonial style.

At first glance, this room would not be for me. While I like a certain 'colonial' vibe on occasion, I'm not usually a fan of poster beds or canopies, but the more I look at the simplicity of this room, the more I like it and while I wouldnt choose the canopy for my own room, it is very pretty.

I like vintage, and I think it's nice.....

As a kid I had a canopy bed, but it was French Provencial Style.....my sister would come into my room and throw my plush animals on top of the canopy ....😆
