I love everything about this room except the 4 posted bed. I think it makes the ceiling look low. I would change the bed to a bed without posters.

I kind of agree with @Foxxee .

My first thought was the huge armoire is kind of creepy, and it does all seem kind of oppressive.

And as much as I do love a water view, this one doesn't give much privacy.

The tall dark posts on the bed, the stark furnishings, and low ceiling with -wait is that "shiplap"?.

I do like a chaise lounge.

My step mother had one that I loved and I always thought I would want one when I got a home of my own.

Hers was and looked a lot more comfortable than this one-it was soft and fluffy and pretty too!
