So beautiful, I would love to have a bedroom with a waterfront view

Love this room, very comfy, cozy. It's very large, I could easily hang here in that lady lounger at the window.

@lolakimono

Yes...I want this!

The furnishings are perfect for my taste!

What I notice, upon close inspection, is that the lighting fixtures make sense, both for soft lighting across the entire room (lamps) and closeup work (such as reading).

💤💤perfect for naps or late-night reading.

I guess all the clutter stuff is in that large armoire!

Re: Bedroom with Waterfront View

Years ago I had a friend who lived on a bluff overlooking Long Island Sound.  I don't remember much about the bedroom decor, but I do remember a twinge of envy that she could drink her morning coffee or watch the sunset across the water in Conneticutt -  all from the chaise in her bedroom.  All that and she was a superb innovative cook!

@lolakimonoThanks for creating a good memory for me as the day begins.

Re: Bedroom with Waterfront View

First thing that hit me was the low or appearance of a low ceiling.  Possibly, 7 feet rather than the standard 8 feet.  IMO, it's oppressive, would give a feeling of bearing down on me even though it's white.

For me, there's not much to like...very bland and unimaginative bedroom.  Other than the windows, not much to talk about the interior architecture.  Color and decor lacking in creativity to make up for what is just another bedroom in most houses.

I would vote for the chaise and window view.  Other than that, it's very depressing to me.
