It is nice, but appears seasonal to me. I would keep it as is in autumn but decorate it differently for the other seasons.

My IMMEDIATE reaction was that I had a craving for candy corn.

It looked like Halloween colors.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Nice room, but I'd change out the orange accents; too much like Halloween for me. And that shelf would definitely go. You couldn't reach it even standing on the bed and it would just be a major dust catcher, very difficult to keep clean.

It is a modest and not elaborate room.

I do not like the shelf above the bed. It sticks out and seems to have no reason to be there. It just is up there, out of place, however it does have an interesting structure.

The pumpkin accent goes with the colors of the room but does not seem like a good decor piece for the room unless it was for the season.

Other than what I have mentioned, the room is nice.

There's nothing terribly wrong with this room. On the other hand, there's nothing remotely special about it either. Strikes me as a space that was put together with leftovers and while there's nothing wrong with that, it's unfortunate when it's apparent. I like a few of the elements, but overall, I'd start from scratch, beginning with the window coverings. Oh, and I like orange and blue when used together well.

Since I am a bird lover I like the bird pictures in the room. I have a few bird paintings in our bedroom along with two throw pillows on the bed that depict three little birds on them.

I'm having a difficult time deciding if I like the colors in the room. I think I would have just stuck with blue and white. I like the color of orange but I'm not sure that I would have chosen it for that room.

It is a pretty room though, and it would make a lovely guest room.
