Nice bedroom! I think the walls/ceiling with panels makes it cozier. 

 

Too much stuff on the side table, my arm would knock it all off at night.

It's really well done and fits the space very well. Just enough black to off set the walls, floor and roman shade. Plays well with the black casement windows too. Light colors wouldn't work.  I like it very much.

Leave the bed and window shade, but everything else would need to go to suit my taste.
