This is not my type of decor nor would I want a room like this, but there is something about this room that appeals to me.  Perhaps it is the color combination and the contrasting patterns.

 

I think maybe it looks a bit like the kind of room I might have had in my much, much younger and simplier days in a first apartment on my own for instance.
