Hello, Qpeople.

Due to fibro, I sleep on a ventilated memory foam mattress, one of the kinds of mattresses that can be placed right on top of a metal bed frame without a box spring.

I'm considering one of the following cozy 'complete bed frames', and would like to hear your fave(s) if you have any,

Personally I prefer a taller headboard, but they're hard to find on a metal twin bed that's reasonably-priced.

I received some Walmart gift cards, so that's where these are from.

Thanks in advance for your input.

I like #3 (C) too.

I noticed the last one is taller than the others. Maybe they're all adjustable.

Good luck with your selection.

As a person with rheumatoid arthritis, I would consider a bed like that a "TORTURE CHAMBER".

We had a beautiful solid oak 4 poster bed for a long time. I'm just 5' tall and literally had to climb to get into bed. That started to become a problem now that I'm elderly.

So, the last time I replaced the mattress, I bought a platform bed. It's lower to the floor and easier for my me to get in and out. I love not dealing with a box spring. And I sleep like a baby.

@Janey3,  I don't have a strong preference for any of them but personally my first consideration would be evaluating which would make it easiest to change the bed linens and second which would be easiest to keep dust free.

As others have pointed out the overall height of the bed frame and your mattress also needs to be considered.

Whichever you choose enjoy your new bed.

Another thing to consider is making the bed.  A full footboard sure makes it harder, I have switched over to no footboard.

At first they all looked the same to me!  Agree with previous poster--I don't like/don't have a footboard.  I bought a bedframe from Amazon and a separate wood headboard.   We don't have a box spring.  Works for me!

My favorites are #3 & #4

I also have a metal headboard and I love it but skipped the footboard.  It makes it much easier to make the bed!
