Beautiful room, but I wouldn't want it.

This room...the wood, is right up my husband's ally.  He'd have his collectibles and sports memorbilia and lounge chairs.  Yep....his kind of space.

The wood is beautiful but it's a little too much for me and this isn't my decor style anyway.  I do, however, love the two sets of doors!!!

That wood looks like the real deal.  I had woodworkers in the family who would be transfixed.

A little too, too for daily life.  Very styled.

Definately masculine, but striking room.

This is a beautiful room, I would love to see it but not live in it.  The decor is way too formal for my living in it.  19th century portraits, busts, tons of decorative plates, old books bought as collections on the shelves, the side chairs...  I do like the wood work, the sofa, the coffee table, the tray table.

I think it is a lovely room............but..........I would have to get all that stuff off of the coffee table and clean up the bookshelves.  The pillows add color.

@wilma  I would agree, the wood is beautiful.  The dynamics in the room with the clutter on the coffee table is too much and lighter colored furniture would enhance the mood.

I like the room and the wood.

I would take out all the furniture and decor and start over again with a lighter more airy decorated room.

I think that would highlight the beautiful wood and room itself.
