What do you think?

I’m not usually a fan of this much wood in a room, but I think the wood is beautiful and the room looks warm, cozy, and inviting. Many times rooms with this much wood look very formal, dark, and dreary, but this one gives off a more relaxed vibe. The large window and doors help with bringing light into the space. If the sofas and chairs were a bit lighter in color that would brighten it up even more. I would remove some of the clutter.

The wood is beautiful but, the room looks too cluttered ... I would remove the furniture & replace it with lighter colors & more appealing style😃

I love wood so I think it's beautiful.  I would, however, choose more colorful, brighter furnishings and accessories.

It's all about the volume of space and the quality and amount of light, isn't it? And of coursei doesn't hurt that this is especially beautiful carved wood.

The wood is beautiful and I like it, but I agree there is too much clutter., otherwise I think it is beautiful and rich looking!

The entire room is beautiful.  It looks like it's from an older, historic type of home..

I like all the wood so long there is a lot of light so it's not dark. I dont' like clutter.

I have a cousin that used to build houses plus does really nice woodwork.

He has so much fancy intricate woodwork in his kitchen, walls, stairs, bookcases, furniture etc. There's a lot but it's nice but it's too dark in their home without the lack of light.

Oh this would be a fun room to get my hands on!

The wood is beautiful. Now, let me see...

The book shelves -

Get rid of all the stuff other than the books.

mostly redo them in short stacks, not rows. And lose the nic nacsl

The throw pillows - keep the lighter ones, lose the dark ones.

The coffe table -

hmmm, where is it?, get rid of 2/3's of those book stacks.

The other table by the two chairs -

again, where is it?, put the framed photos on the shelves among/on top

of the newly made book stacks.

I would definitely have fun redoing this room, mainly a matter of clearing it out a bit!!

This room is for me and I do love the wood!  I would empty the tables of clutter and enjoy the beauty of the room.  I love elegance and a formal look!!!!!

This is how I'd picture a man's den - someone like a lawyer or financial planner. I think if a woman used it, we'd see more color in the furniture and accessories.
