Both of us definitely could. 800 sq. ft. is considered spacious in NYC. Love the style of house, not so much the decor.

Not a bad idea square footage wise if you are widowed however I dont see 2 people co existing well in 800 square feet and I also DO NOT LIKE the brick stairs to get into the house. Many of us are disabled , or on Oxygen. Too Dangerous !

I rent a two story 908 sq.ft. home with two cats who hate each other. (They must be separated.) I am planning on trying to bring my 95 year old mother to stay with me too. My place does not look near as classy. So my answer is "yes" I could live in 800 sq. feet. The place you have presented looks lovely. I'll take it. lol

Yes, I could live there. I love the house inside and out. I would like to be forced to get rid of all non necessity items and make my life easier.

I have lived in a small house like that. Certainly didn't look like that but had some nice features. Pumpkin pine floors, a kind of curved staircase and a "mona" cabinet between the galley kitchen and dining room. For a few years there were 2 of us and 2 cats.
