@lolakimono It wouldn't be my choice. The beams don't look like they "go" there IMO. My parents' house had a beamed ceiling in the eat-in kitchen. It came with the house. My mom painted the kitchen and wallpapered the ceiling in between the beams. It was a pretty look, although I don't think I'd see it anywhere today!

I like the beams.  Re-purposing wood is quite popular with the idea of recycling things. 

Maybe I'd do a different style couch.  I like the look.

The beams are too incongrous to the rest of the room.  It's a needle scratch.

I like the room but hate the furniture. I think it would look completely different with totally different furniture.

I agree.  The room is cool, but the furniture is horrible.

Well I'm pretty sure no one would invite themselves to sleep over. I like the beams, just like in our old barn.

I like the light... I like the space... I like the beams (though I don't know about having all of them)... I don't like the double height room and I absolutely cannot abide the furniture, assuming that's what it's supposed to be...
