Re: Barbie + Ken, Two Views, Same Living Room

Very feminine and pretty.  I'm not a green person but I like the color of the walls.  Love the pink accents.

Why are there two lamps and some other things in front of the t.v.?  Kind of defeats the purpose of having a t.v., doesn't it?

Upon further review, I don't love the coffee tablea and I don't like the rug. Still not a bad room, though.

@lolakimono - I love the green, but not in a living room. This would be a perfect look for a bedroom (or sunroom), without all of the pink, and with fewer pictures on the wall - IMHO of course! Smiley Wink

Re: Barbie + Ken, Two Views, Same Living Room

I think this room is overdesigned. There is way too much stuff on the walls and in the room. I think the couches and/or the table are too big and there is not that much space left. Also, the TV is at the other end of the room where one cannot see it comfortably due to the orientation of both couches.

Green is my favorite color but I do not like the wall color. IMO it doesn't go well with the blues and pinks in the room. I also think the chandelier is out of place.

Just way too much stuff going on at the same time. If you notice, there isn't much room left to really walk around. I don't understand why there are two lamps in front of the TV. This room doesn't look like it would be comfortable to spend time in.

Those ottomans in front of the balcony door would need to be constantly moved to have access and I don't understand why they are there in the first place when they can't be used as intended. It's also not that imaginative to just place two of the same couches in front of each other in the room. I would replace one couch with a couple nice high back chairs etc. with interesting patterns and colors to add interest and open up the room.

Not bad - but I don't like the paint color.

I wish they would toss in some everyday clutter, and suddenly that cramped space would be unbearable for dolls like Barbie and Ken.

I can see this at the beach. Love the brightness and freshness of it plus it looks comfy.

I personally could not function amid those colors.
