@Mominohio    I am so sorry all of this hit you at once.  When it rains it pours and it stinks!  Take a deep breath, take one thing at time or when you can do it.  I would think your car is priority.  I had a TV go black and it never came back and it was only 3 years old.  Cat Happy

Let's face it - electronics are such that they are now built to not last so anything you may have to replace - expect it to not last.  I just had a new house built a year ago (subdivision, you pick a model and add options you want).  I got middle of the road appliances so an upgrade from builder grade for kitchen appliances and so far so good with those.  I decided I'd not take my 15 year old washer or dryer.  It was the old top loader, agitator, etc.  I didn't bring the old huge very awkward clunky TVs and you couldn't even donate those anywhere.

I bought front loader LG washer and dryer on pedestals and flat panel very lightweight TVs to bring here.  Already I had to have a part replaced in the washer (but it was under warranty so that part was good).

However, I'm reminded of what my father used to complain about - the more electronic parts in things, the faster they break and the more it cost to fix them.  Hope hubby can salvage some of those things so it's not an "all at once" extra expenses.
