My dining and living room walls are painted blue, a Wedgewood blue color.  For me it is warm and suits my taste. The room in the photo has appeal, I like the art work and credenza but the furnishings aren't my taste.  I would also prefer a wood coffee table and a print covering on the chairs to perk the room up.  I do like the fact that there are drapes for privacy purposes.  I do love the spaciousness of the room and perhaps a change in the rug design/color would add some warmth.

I like the room.  It is calming; however, not inviting.  It's a showroom.  I would get rid of the ceiling light fixture though.

It’s a lovely room, but it needs something. I’m not quite sure what. It is not pleasing to the eye, movement wise. @Oznell

@manny2 It lacks warmth.

I like the furniture, however the Art Work would be changed for sure......It is not pleasing and does not accent the furniture very well in my opinion!

I like the room and the colors but would change the the plant to live greenery,  remove the busts on the buffet and maybe add just a few personal pictures or small plants,  and replace the art to 1 large piece of artwork.

I love the ottoman as is.

I would throw out that awful sofa and the ottoman....and take it from there; those two pieces ruin the entire room IMO
