Looks Navy to me, and I thought that from the minute I saw the photos. I really like how the navy was used throughout this wonderful home, especially the living room. It's not overpowering because of the white woodwork. I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to do that, but I love the way it looks - much better than the before photos which look boring to me!

@jannabelle1  You are brave enough! I tell people this all the time when contemplating painting.

It's only paint and if you don't like it, you can paint it until you do. I painted my ugly fireplace stone (crazy, I know) probably 6 times (no kidding) before it was perfect to me....now I love it.

Oh, yeah, @GingerHead -- I used to practically hoard paint chips.  Going to the hardware store and looking at the rows and rows of them, fun.

@jannabelle1 ,  I agree, it's only paint, and if you find a color that's a bit "out there" for you, you don't have to worry.  You can always experiment first by ordering those oversize "Samplize" paint sticker samples to put up on the wall to see what you think.  In case you haven't tried them before, you should know that you can put them on and peel them off, with no damage to the wall whatsoever.

I see navy on the walls, and I like it better than the before color.

Normally, I'm not a dark wall lover. I do like it around this fireplace. Maybe it's because there seems to be a lot of light in that room.

Is the color by any chance "Sea Mariner" on the Sherwin Williams Website?  Look similar.

I love Craftsman homes.  And this one is well done.  While not a big fan of dark colored walls,  I like them in this house.
