I guess Bath& BodyWorks switched to “essential oils” in their candles. Almost everyone I have watched on YT or anyone I know personally have said they now are giving them headaches. I don’t usually burn candles because my S.O. can’t really handle the scents, but I do like their wall flowers at times. Have any of you all bought their new candles? If so, what are your thoughts? TIA

There are two types of oils used in candle making.
Essential olis are oils that are plant based. They would be used for scents that small Ike spice or flowers, etc.
Fragrance oils are created in a lab. If your candle smells like cookies, Merlot, etc.the candle probably contains fragrance oils.
Fragranceoils are stronger than essential oils and they are probably what gives people headaches and other adverse reactions. Essential oils are more expensive and have a softer throw.
I am not experiencing any problems with BBW candles, new or old. I have quite the stash of them. When they go on sale and I have coupons I buy 5 or six at a time.
My daughter has problems with many candle scents giving her a headache...she always has.
