Which scented candles are you currently burning?  Are you still enjoyijg the sweet scents of summer, or have you shifted to Fall?

I'm burning Mountain Lodge by Yankee Candle in the bedroom, and Rigaud Vesuve in the living room.  Both are smokey and woodsy.  I have a few of my pumpkins out, and a cold front going through my area has given me an excuse to light a fire.  There's no turning back for me now!

I picked up Mulled Cider grecian pillar style candles from Root Candles while traveling. Nice autumn scent. I burn them in oversized votive glass from Libbey glass.

Not chilly enough for a fire yet but it will be 40 degrees tonite.

Woodwick's Redwood.

This is probably my favorite, even over pine.

It smells like a fireplace/campfire, very smokey.

I also have a pumpkin/mcintosh from Michael's-its alright but not very strong.

I think I had recently smelled Yankee candle's mountain lodge-I'll have to try that again-isn't that an enticing name? Though I don't like Yankee Candle as much as I used to.

You can tell we love to even just talk about candles!Woman LOL

@on the bay Redwood is a favorite, go-to candles for me, too.  I burn it in my bedroom at any time of year.  It reminds me of the Lane Cedar Chest I had in my bedroom as a child.  If you have ever smelled Woodwick's, Sand and Driftwood, it has a similar smell to Yankee Candle's, Mountain Lodge. That's one of my favorites, too.  I have to admit that I haven't purchased a Mountain Lodge candle for years, because the last time I ordered 4 of them directly from the company, they had no throw.  If you read the reviews on their website, you'll see that this is a common complaint about this candle.  The reason why I purchased this one is because they had it in my grocery store, and it was one sale.  I decided to give it a second chance, and it was worth it.  Year's ago, I found a candle at Michaels around the holidays that smelled very similar to BBW's candle, Sweater Weather, and I loved it.  The sale prices on Michaels' candles are great, and the throw is good, too.

I'll have to try mountain lodge again if I see it.

Thaks for all the nice descriptions!

Yes, autumn is definitely in the air. It is so autumn-like where I live today--very cool with a light breeze and a very vibrant blue sky--just gorgeous out! I've already bought several large Fall mums in yellow, rust and burgundy colors and was positioning them around outside. Right now I have my Nest pumpkin chai candle lit. I can't wait to Harry's candles ship out on the 15th. I just checked my order status so they should be shipping out next week. Did anyone else order his Fall TSV?

We just had a cool front come through last Wednesday bringing us mid to lower 80s weather during the day and 60s at night! We are loving that, but we are not loving Hurricane Irma. She will be upon us tomorrow afternoon through early Tuesday. We are to get lots of rain, wind, and possible tornados. Everyone evacuated West and North, but Irma switched things up and is now headed up the west coast of Florida and west Georgia. I'm in the western side of the southeast region, so we are getting tropical storm weather. We are rural, so we will have plenty of land to absorb the water, so we aren't worried there, nor with my dirt road as long as people don't go bogging up and down it. I still don't know if we are to report to work on Monday or Tuesday. I guess we'll find out tomorrow. I hope the boss lady doesn't forget to send it, as I won't be coming anyway! I won't wait for her to make a decision.

Maybe somewhere but not in the Boston area this week.  It will be mid 80's through Friday and right now they are saying high 70's for the weekend.  I love it!  I hope it will be another very long, warm fall.

Our mornings here have been brisk, 50 degrees and chilly, but it warms up to the 70's, today and tomorrow the high 70's and sunny! The evenings and early morning though feel like Fall for sure....I can't wait to break out my apple and spice and pumkpin and spice candles in a few weeks!!!! Although I am still hoping for the rest of September to be warm still........Our winters here in Wisconsin are so long and cold, I like the nice weather for as long as it will stay around! Uusually by October it is definitely Fall........
