It's time to clean the outside of leaves and summer clutter, cover up things, get rid of old plants and broken pots and make plans for the upcoming season!

I read something that really made me stop and think this morning about doing a cleanup of our "mindset"; which this article listed as a valuable "tool" we have. It suggested we screen our thoughts and interrupt some of them, and extract and replace others.  It hit home with me.

Not only applied to the season related to weather, but the season of obligations, activities, gatherings, work and home pressures and joys, and maybe a mindset cleanup could be more beneficial to me than leaf raking!

This applies to me.  I will admit that!  I hope it is useful to others.  Igot this in an e-mail today just when I needed it! A small blessing to start the day.

Re: Autumn Cleaning List!

Screening our thoughts and interrupting some of them is a valuable tool and something that works well for me I'm learning.

Have recently been checking some thoughts, if too negative and not going to solve a problem it's just complaining to myself I stop those thoughts before they snowball.

Love the analogy of cleaning up ourselves in addition to yard work.  Have lots of the physical stuff to do tomorrow too Smiley Happy
