I wonder how it would look enlarged to say 16" X 20" and transferred to canvas?  I've had a couple of those done and they came out great.

OH!!!  How very charming!

When growing up on the side of the Blue Ridge Park Way, I had a friend I rode horses with; she lived just up the road.  I always thought she was older than I, certainly taller.

Her mother? grandmother? fried chicken in a big black cast iron frying pan and made chocolate cake!  So yummy.  I don't remember the surroundings, but this house looks like that the chicken, vegies, and cake would be on this table!

@ECBG.  I like all the antiques casually displayed and the textures of the shingles, logs, leaves, grass and, most of all, that beautiful picket fence.
