Some nice elements but too much. The whole 'Asian inspired' trend isn't one I'd opt for in any fashion. There are very few elements of the Asian aesthetic I find appealing enough to want to live with every day. That said, I'm not seeing a lot of Asian influences in this room aside from the coffee table and possibly the ceiling.

The only Asian parts I see are the pictures on the wall and the coffee table. Otherwise it doesn't strike me as Asian.

Looks more Goodwill (inspired) than Asian (inspired) to me.

Yes, I am not too sure why they called it "Asian Inspired".......With the exceptions of the coffe table, ceiling, wall decor and possibly the lamps, it isn't what I would necessarily call Asian inspired.

Re: Asian inspired!!! Lots of patterns for sure!

The dark wood armchair to the right of the fire place looks Chinese, and I think the large print to the right of that, on the recessed wall, could be Asian as well.

The bright silk pillows on the solid colored sofa, might be loosely considered to be Asian-inspired too, maybe.  The thing is, if they hadn't gone so overboard with print, pattern and competing colors, it could potentially be a pleasant room with a whisper of Asian serenity contributing to a peaceful feeling.  Imagine if the walls were cream, and subtle neutrals with just the occasional "hit" of color used, it could be quite lovely.

The room needed some characteristic Asian subtlety and restraint, but the designer didn't supply that!
