Not a look I love.  But the worst thing in the room would be the portraits hanging on the wall.

Nice space, though it seems a bit narrow. Great windows. Passable wall color and rug. Othewise, just awful decor. Tired of the 'Asian influence'. Never liked it in the first place. As others have said, the lanterns are fine in the right setting.

Seeing more of the room makes me like it even less....just not for me.

I just looked closely at the furniture. What look to be the recycled office table and school cafeteriaa chairs from the 70's are pretty awful.
