I iron constantly but still use my 38 year old iron I received for my bridal shower! I inherited my moms and her's is at least 25 years old. So, no, I'm not hard on my irons at all!

I don't own an iron .....  I used to have a travel iron and little board somewhere but I think I donated them during my last move.

If something requires serious ironing, I either take it to the dry cleaners ... or  don't even buy it in the first place.

I used to be which is why I no longer have one. I have had a steamer though for about 7-8 years now and I like it and use it almost every day to de-wrinkle what I will wear to work.

I am NOT a fan of the crease in pants so I don't need to worry about that but when I was in the Army that was a big deal so my irons were in what seemed like constant use.

I just have a simple steamer (Shark Garment Stand Steamer) but I love it and have had it for a while and it works great.

No..because I rarely use an iron.  I find that modern fabrics don't require ironing if you take them out of the dryer promptly, smooth them out and then hang them up.
