I bought a clock from QVC years ago that has a little girl Hummel figurine about 3" tall with it. I'd like to find a little boy to alternate.
It seems though that I can't find any sources of "new" Hummels. Are they still being made?

I just Googled this and found out that production of Hummel figurines by Goebel ended in 2008. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummel_figurines

Production was stopped in October 2008, can I suggest you look on ebay

Question: Will this make the ones we own more valuable, or not? I haven't looked yet on ebay to tell.

Collectibles, in general, have not held their value as the younger generation is not interested in spending money on them or dusting them. They are more interested in buying electronics. People should collect what they enjoy owning and looking at in their home because resale for profit is unusual. The up side is - if you enjoy Hummels and would like to get a few they are less expensive.

My mother collected those things for YEARS and now we're trying to get rid of 88 figurines. No market.
I'm keeping my Hummel nativity set because it'sbeautiful, but I have no interest in any other pieces.
Collect what makes you happy without counting on future value. I look at the money spent on all those Hummels...
The collector's club in Tarrytown NY went under so you can't check with them. Guess you'll have to source eBay and other sites to find what you're looking for. Good luck!

My Grandmother collected Hummels prior to WW 11 when they were not expensive. I still have and display her collection despite that they have almost all been broken by us grandkids when we were little and repaired by my Grandpap. She said those breaks were because we girls loved them to death. I still love them - mostly like to look at them and remember her.

At one time Hummels were worth several hundred dollars each. No more. I only have a few that I inherited but would like to get rid of them. Much prefer Lladro figurines.

I have around 50 and a lamp. Most are from Germany. My sister didn't want them, so I have my grandmother's collection. My mother also gave me hers too. I have a large hutch in the kitchen and I have them on one shelf. Actually I have two clocks from the q too. I have them hanging in a spare bedroom. They don't have value, but I love them all anyway.
