Okay going to try this again. Typed a long message to you and don't know where it went. Now at my age, I forgot already what I said.

I think you and I have the same tastes. I too got the mini houses and had Vals jingle garland in my cart but changed my mind on that one. I really wanted to put it around my hanging light above my table but bought the iced one last year for that purpose and the "rod" for a better word that everything was hooked on was so thick I had a hard time getting it to bend so sent it back. I will probably be sorry I didn't get this one.

I love that JS santa and have talked myself out of it several times. The scenes on the revolving part are so awesome. He outdid himself on that one. Still thinking of getting it and don't know how long I can stay strong.

Really wanting Valeries cloche with the snowman and kids. Think I have figured out a good place for it. Thought I would put it on the table in the middle of some of my JS snowmen. Guess if we like something bad enough, we can justify it, huh.

I think you have just started another addiction, GB houses. I am sure you will love them. I was hooked after my 1st house. Better wear blinders when Val brings her houses in August cause they are hard to resist. I just DON'T have room for anymore big ones.

Report back in when you get the minis to let us know how you like them MTH. I am really surprised they haven't sold out yet, unless they have since the last time I looked. She must have brought more of them than she does the big ones cause they seem to go fast.

Hey JPC: Good to hear from you. I think you are right...we do have the same taste. I can't believe you have resisted the JS rotating santa. I caved as soon as I saw the little doggie on one side. I also did the auto delivery on it because I want the turkey one too. The only thing I'm wondering about is that there is no info on the description as to the songs played on any of the auto delivery figurines. I'll keep checking the JS website about that too. By the way...on the JS website, he is now having a daily special. Each day for the past few weeks, they have a piece that they slash the price on.

I have to check Skyline for my zombie witch. Still nothing on that although it was due in the middle of July. Hmmm.

I have been looking for some new decorations for my mantle (yes I have a fireplace even though I live in South Florida) and that jingle garland just seemed perfect. Valerie mentioned that it was "maneueverable" which may work for you. I hope I can redo that mantle with that garland, the mini GB houses and the snowman cloche. I will give you feedback on those GBs when they arrive. Mine have not shipped yet. They will be my first GB houses. Might even stand one in my kitchen where I put the JS GB snowman we all got last year.

Thanks for the heads up on JS website and his daily special. I can't believe I haven't caved either on the rotating Santa. I do have a musical rotating snowman from years back but Santa is so much more colorful. So full of detail too.

Won't have to worry about the garland as it is sold out now. Just to make me happy, when you get yours tell me how hard it is to pose so I don't have to try to get my foot up to kick myself.

Your mantel sounds beautiful, I can picture it just from your description. I know this won't be your last GB house. Mine have finally shipped so am anxious to get them. I did get her candle tree that will go really good in with my village. Love the way it looks. It is just "stinkin cute".

Hope you get your zombie witch soon. I would think she should be coming soon. Wouldn't hurt to call them.

Hi: Too bad on the jingle bell garland. My garland should be here tomorrow but the mini GB houses still haven't shipped yet. I'm sure the garland wouldn't work for what you wanted anyway!!!!! I thought about getting Valerie's peppermint trees but by the time I decided, they sold out so I ended up getting another tree she had on the website which was one from last year but I thought it would work. Which trees are the "candle trees"? I hope I don't get hooked on the GB items. I may end up divorced. I did hear that Valerie had some larger GBs coming in August but I think I'm gonna stick to that snowman cloche (depending on what the price ends up being). A HL just opened near me so I'm anxious to see what they have for the holidays. If Valerie's cloche is crazy expensive, then I may wait to see what HL puts out.

Just got off the phone with Skyline. They have not yet received the witch. Let me know if you cave on that rotating Santa. It's not set to ship from the Q until the first week of August so I can't tell you how great it is until then.

The tree is the waffle cone tree, I had a brain fade at the time I wrote about it) #H203709. I do have a few of her peppermint trees and have also picked a few up at HL. If you get close to there, they usually have them every year in different sizes and probably won't be long till they are out. They don't light up but still nice. I also have valeries gumdrop light up tree. that is also nice.

Yeh, I am sure Valeries snowman cloche will probably run about the same price as the one on Lisa's show or maybe even more since it has a scene in it. I have a feeling it will be going fast when it does appear. I hope I am lucky enough to get one of them as if I really need it.

Sorry to hear your witch is still out there flying around somewhere. I am sure she will make a landing soon. Still holding out on the Santa but time will tell. I keep running it thru my mind of places I could put him. He might look awful cute mixed in with my Santa workshop from JS.

Once I get the mini GBs, I'll see about going back for that tree, but I will definitely check out my new HL for the peppermint trees. I went to bed Saturday night without ordering them and when I woke Sunday and checked the items I missed, I saw that they were all gone. I was so mad that I just didn't order them when I was going to do it, but I was starting to feel bad about all the items I had in my cart and some things just had to go.

I really do want that snowman cloche and will try to monitor the website for it as August gets closer. I have a feeling you are right that it will be a good bit more than Lisa's because of the scenes available but I just really loved the pics when I saw them. I saw a snowman and an angel scene but I have seen on one of the threads that there is also a santa version. I'll have to watch the website for that one I guess but I'm really leaning towards the snowman. I love the red base.

I saw the santa cloche in the Xmas in July commercial and it is soo cute too but figured I can use the snowman much longer so will get my moneys worth out of it. I will give you a shout out if I see it appear.

Sounds like it might be a little late to watch our pocketbooks. I think we all got out to a good start already and this is coming from someone who said she "wasn't buying a thing" Famous last words.

I am feeling the same way about the jingle garland as you are the cone tree MTH. I knew when I had it in my cart I should have just hit submit but my "sensible" side took over and we all know where that gets you. Big regrets. Maybe she will bring it back. Be sure to let me know how you like it but don't play it up toooo big

If you are a member of Costco they had these santa and snowman cloches last year just like Valerie's that I could tell. One had the red base and the other had the green base. If I remember right they were around $36.00. I fell in love with the snowman one, but made my own. Just spray painted a pedestal I had red and filled with snow, snowman, a couple bottle brush trees and a little lamp post. I put my big lots BO lights under the snow to give some glow to it. Worked out pretty well, lol!

I bought Val's little mercury glass trees in green, as I wanted to use them in a cloche and lantern this year. Got them today, really like them.

Also got the jingle bell garland today. I like it too. Wish it had a little more snow on it though, but the snow didn't come off which is a good thing. Hope you like yours MTH.

That is a nice arched lantern. You can always paint it red!!

JPC: The garland arrived. I have yet to really see how it bends around my mini GBs (if they are ever shipped) on my mantle so I'll let you know but I like the look of it. The jingle bells are larger than I thought and Mil3 was right that there could be more snow but that can be fixed by putting some fake snow under the GB houses. My other trees should be here tomorrow and I hope they are cute. There was no presentation on those trees this year so I did it off the pic. We'll see how I did.

My minis should be here tomorrow. They are at the PO in the town over from us so hopefully my postoffice will get them tomorrow. If not will get them Friday. Seemed like mine were in progress for a very long time.

JPC: I'm so jealous that you will have your GBs tomorrow. Mine are still showing in process, but I did order them later in the day than my other items. I kept going back and forth on those so I decided later on that I wanted to get them. The trees I ordered are H197512. I wanted something taller. These are 15" and there is a little gb boy on it too. Got good reviews so I figured I'd give them a try since the bottle trees are not on the agenda this year and I'm going to have to fill in with some different trees. I'm sure HL and/or Michaels will have some bottle trees but Valerie's seemed so nice last year. I'm kicking myself for waiting on those and then missing them entirely. Let me know about the minis when they arrive. I hope by tomorrow mine at least ship. Have a good night.
