Mr. Crazy is usually pretty good. I went gawgaw over Valeries rocking horse and he told me to order it. But I didn't cause I really didn't need it so I restrained but I really loved it. It was beautiful.

Agree on the lantern craving. I just got the one from HL that mallemo shared with us and have a couple others so at this point in my life, don't need anymore. But "never say never" I thought I had enough GB houses too but when Val brought the one with the little addition, I caved on that one.

Yep, it's me! My old account was closed because I had too many returns, so I had to come up with a different nic, but I wanted everyone to know that it was still me, so I just went with a lower case r. Believe me, I was not real happy with what they did, since I think I have been a pretty positive poster here, and not a basher.

Hi All: Glad to see everyone around again. Sounds like everyone had a fun time with the CIJ weekend. I did a little damage too. Got the mini GB houses and Valerie's jingle garland. And of course, I ordered a new Jim Shore piece, the musical rotating Santa. I really debated on the GB houses as this will be my first set of them, but something about them just caught my attention. I have a perfect spot for them so I hope they are are as pretty as they appeared on screen. I held off on the LR cloche as I really want to see the Santa/snowman/angel ones that Valerie has coming out in August. If anyone sees them hit the website, please let me know. I think they will be a big seller. Keep posting how everyone likes their purchases as they arrive!!

Hi rose! So happy you are back for a while!! I totally get you are busy with the DGK's. I have mine at least once a week and it is exhausting. But very rewarding, feel I am lucky I get to see them so much. I helped my BFF & neighbor with her garage sale a few weeks ago; it was so much work.

I bought Val's set of 3 micro lights. I also got a set last Christmas, and I really needed more. Think I paid less this time. I just love those little lights; they really pack a punch and add so much accent at night time. Gonna put them in just about every container i can!!

Hope the rest of your summer goes slowly so you can enjoy it. It is flying by for me--almost August!!! But then we can pull out the Autumn decs which are really my fave . . .

JPC--willl you please review the small GB when you get them? I may be able to squeeze a small set in, somewhere.

Hi Whitelinen~missed you guys. Yes, watching those little buggers is exhausting, isn't it? But it is rewarding, because you get to hear all of those wonderful things "Out of the mouths of babes". Like last Saturday morning, I slept in a little, and had to rush over to pick the kiddies up by 8 AM. Lucy, my grand daughter said, "Mimi, you have a funny face." (I had no makeup on yet). I almost rolled on the floor laughing. She always sees me with makeup. Which micro lights did you get, the clear or the multi? (Lisa's, right H203495?)

JPC~thank you for the link for the micro lights. I will wait and see if the clear comes back in stock. How did you group do on your quilt auction that you had? I bet you had some pretties.

I did some "research" and it looks like the lights from Lisa's show and Val's lights are about the same. I couldn't find any difference in the 2 of them by reading the description except Val's are 40 cents higher and she only has clear at this time. I sure can't see anything different about either of them. I didn't check out her video. This is the item # H202221.

That is so cute what Lucy said. Aren't they just the most fun to be around?? You are so lucky to have them so close and see so much of them. I know when our DGD was little, I watched her everyday and after her mom quit work, she would spend at least one night each weekend with us. So enjoyed those times and sure miss her since they moved.

Our group is just now selling tickets for the quilt we made. We will have the drawing at our quilt show in Sept. It is a raffle thing. Hopefully we will make lots off of it.

Okay going to try this again. Typed a long message to you and don't know where it went. Now at my age, I forgot already what I said.

I think you and I have the same tastes. I too got the mini houses and had Vals jingle garland in my cart but changed my mind on that one. I really wanted to put it around my hanging light above my table but bought the iced one last year for that purpose and the "rod" for a better word that everything was hooked on was so thick I had a hard time getting it to bend so sent it back. I will probably be sorry I didn't get this one.

I love that JS santa and have talked myself out of it several times. The scenes on the revolving part are so awesome. He outdid himself on that one. Still thinking of getting it and don't know how long I can stay strong.

Really wanting Valeries cloche with the snowman and kids. Think I have figured out a good place for it. Thought I would put it on the table in the middle of some of my JS snowmen. Guess if we like something bad enough, we can justify it, huh.

I think you have just started another addiction, GB houses. I am sure you will love them. I was hooked after my 1st house. Better wear blinders when Val brings her houses in August cause they are hard to resist. I just DON'T have room for anymore big ones.

Report back in when you get the minis to let us know how you like them MTH. I am really surprised they haven't sold out yet, unless they have since the last time I looked. She must have brought more of them than she does the big ones cause they seem to go fast.
