MUD!!!!!!!!!!!!
We sit very low, and water runs down hill, so we get over saturated this time of year, and this years is extra wet here. Therefore, those 'May flowers' that are supposed to follow the April Showers, will have to wait until the mud dries up! At least it isn't more snow and ice!!
How is spring shaping up in your neck of the woods?

Apparently about the same as in yours... Lots of grey, dreary days with drizzle or rain, windy and humid... I suppose it will get better and maybe we'll actually have a few pretty days before the heat and humidity set in and I start looking forward to fall again...

ugh, yes, other than Monday when it was lovely, we are back in the cold dismals. I am really in a hurry for it to get warmer & sunny.

Yes, after the long, frigid Winter, we are now experiencing a very rainy Spring...I did manage to get some pansies planted during a beautiful day a few days ago and the weather is looking very hopeful starting this weekend....hitting the 60's and continuing through next week and many weeks after, hopefully!
Oh, how I yearn for sunny, warm, breezy days!

It has been warm out here and the tulips are almost done and the rhododendrons have been out for about a week.

MIO, do great minds think alike?
I posted a thread in Viewpoints about Spring has Sprung, and now I found this one here! I post in Viewpoints so much, I decided to put it there.
I won't repeat it because I got rather detailed, but in a nutshell, it's beautiful in NC in the Spring! I hate the heat and humidity of summer, but right now it's wonderful. My white and pink dogwoods are in bloom, my Redbud trees are in full bloom, all my azaleas are just about out, along with forsythia and a pink bush that the birds planted a few years ago. I don't even know what that one is! And the Robins are busy building their nests! On the downside, my grass needs to be cut.
(Actually, probably more weeds than grass at the moment!)
On my other thread, I offered to send someone some flowers in April if she would send me some snow in January! Can we make a deal for some snow delivery next winter?

I'd like to sign up for your 'exchange' program! What a great deal!
I didn't see your thread, so I'll head over and see what folks are saying.
It does seem like dry weather is lacking in my area of Ohio the last several years. NC is beautiful in the spring, and it comes so early relative to what we are used to. Enjoy these wonderful days.

It's been rainy and chilly, near 40 degrees since Easter day. We're in the mountains, so I do expect it, just ready to move on. The daffodils are popping through in spite of the weather, as are my sedums. The grass has a long way to go, since we've only been able to actually see it for a few days! lol I'd love to send snow to whomever would like it this winter. You just call the pinky hotline or log into, www.takethisblastedsnowalready, and I'll get right on it. Ok?. lol pinky

In the 80's, running the air already. Sever thunderstorms, tornado watches/warnings, golf ball size hail, floods, winds to 60mph! We will have two dry days over the weekend and another week just like this one! ![]()
Maybe Winter wasn't so bad . Already encountered a snake and a wasp!
