Anyone get anything from the Mackenzie Childs Barn sale?

I have some (a lot, if I really look around) M-C pieces throughout my house.

I'd just placed an order along with my annual gift and of course, one thing is now majorly reduced.  Don't know if they'd credit me, guess I won't know until I ask....

I like the vinyl mats (3'x5') for my kitchen in front of sink and dishwasher and all the way to the stove because my floors are hardwood and it really protects when I'm rinsing/cooking vegetables.  I have one in front of my fridge, too.

The Barn sale price is tempting me to buy backups, but I'm thinking they won't discontinue the Courtly Check since it's a huge part of their design they're known for.

So easy to keep clean, too.  They're non skid and made in the USA.  (Lots of MC is no longer made here....)

Bought a couple of other things, but today's the last day, so now I'm tempted even more.

Do you like MC and have any favorites?

I like MC, but at my age, I'm eliminating items not buying more stuff I don't need.

It's a great sale though.

@deeva    I also like that line but I already am parting with many possessions no one in the family shows any interest in.  I have no children, so I know a house full of all sorts of things that are just stuff to me already will be worse stuff to others.

The best gift I believe I can give my family (who live thousands of miles away right now) is to own less.  Not buying new and donating or discarding what I haven't used recently is my goal.  I am treating shopping like a visit to a museum -  look, don't touch!

I like the style of Courtly Check, I have a few knock offs.   I found 4, 4-piece place settings at a thrift store for $20.  I kept it for a while then sold it for $400.

I ordered the witch's cauldron.   It's so cute but I'll end up selling it too

Oh believe me, I'm not piling up with lots of *stuff*, these mats are functional, they protect my hardwoods.

I'm guilty of washing my hands and not drying them (!) especially when I'm cooking.

I have them in the Courtly Check and also have the Courtly Check curtains.

At my front door and my back door I have the smaller 2x3 ones.  I even planted flowers on my landing to match the print on the front door mat.

The mats can be cleaned with a soapy paper towel or a disinfecting wipe.  Every once in a while I'll mop them and drape them over the railing on the back deck.  They dry instantly.

I may get a set of curtains for a hallway window.

So these things are *functional*!

And it's so nice when your functional items can be cheerful and pretty like yours, @Lucky Charm !

@Oznell

I also bought a full/queen comforter for my granddaughter's bed that I've had my eye on.

I actually Chalk Painted her dresser and a desk in colors that I *pulled* from the comforter.

I may buy the matching duvet cover to keep the comforter *protected*-- although I've never done a duvet cover before.....

I reviewed the sale, but I already have purchased a lot from Shop HQ at good prices,  so I did not buy anything new.  I collect the white Flower Garden.  I use M-C mainly in my kitchen--it is both pretty and practical!

I like the line but it is pricey and like others I'm not adding much in the way of decorative items these days. Even if they're practical, useful and pretty and I'd like to add some things, unfortunately, I already have too much stuff and too little room.

In my pantry with my cupcakes...
