@lucymo I saw the presentation on them and honestly, I wasn't that impressed with them...certainly not a "LOVE", which is a good thing. I have to keep reminding myself not to buy anything just because they look nice, I MUST 'LOVE' whatever it is!

I am learning to be much better at this and putting it into practice. Between just finishing another purge of even ridding our home of decor I wish I didn't buy or keep last year, it is fresh in my memory bank.

For example, one of the things I just purged was H203277...both  sets of finials red and green. I didn't even use the green ones and only used the red ones once last year. What I should have done was return them after I saw them 'in person'. I regret not returning them. They were nice/ok...just no 'wow' factor and I thought the quality was lacking too.

I am guilty of 'thinking about that Cardinal lamp...the 60 days  of illumination before changing the batteries is a good selling point...and I do LOVE it...still wishing it was electric...

On the fence...

I do think I will use it often for many years...Hmmmmm Smiley Very Happy

Me too SL!  I am contemplating that lamp to tie in with my beautiful cardinal bell.  I also have the s/3 red CI cardinals from last year.  There is also the cute red cardinal lantern & the s/3 matching spheres.  I have got to stop taking time off during these shows...!

@BornToShop  Have another piece of that yummy chocolate and pour us both a glass of wine...I'll get that Cardinal lamp Smiley Tongue

About the cardinal lamp... @Susan Louise, I thought of the cardinal and chickadee lamps on Sturbridge Yankee Workshop.  Didn't you buy lamp(s) of a similar style to the one below?  I was thinking that perhaps the glass effect is the same?

Anyway, thought I'd mention them in case any cardinal or bird lovers missed out on Valerie's.

@SHOPR I was a good girl and didn't order anything from the VPH shows...not even that Cardinal lamp! I did order a similar set of 2 lamps (not in tree form like in the image you posted). They have a woodland theme that has birch trees, deer, and some birds which I love...

However, I did just place an order for the set of 2 tree lamps...and got them at a pretty good bargain. I used a coupon code SAVE035 and w/ S&H it came to under $27 for the pair!

Thanks for enabling me again SHOPR booo.gif..............ooonooo.gif

@SHOPR I'll post a pic when I get them. I hopped on  this train since they will pair so well with the VPH frosted hemlock picks in a vignette Smiley Happy

I just went into my archives order folder and found the item # and the actual name of the pair of woodland lamps, but the image is virtually not available online...poof! I'm too lazy to go in the basement right now to take a pic of ours...LOL

It was "Winter Scene Glass Lights - #68317" from Sturbridge back at the end of October...

@Susan Louise, I just thought to use the forum's search feature since it was improved with the update.  I found the thread with a picture of your lamps.  It's all coming back to me now!  Cat LOL

Re: Anyone excited at all for tomorrow's programming?

Thank you SHOPR for the alert on these and thank you SL for the code.  I just ordered these too!

I bought a light like your 2 SL on clearance after xmas at Joanns, along with a little lamp about the size of VPH's lamps.  The lamp shade has the winter scene on it.  My other light like yours is not as fat, but taller.  I know Kirklands last year had a light like this that was taller and skinnier and the one at Joanns was inbetween that one and yours.

I love this light and lamp.  The winter scene shows up so well and it's plugin, which I love.

So thank you both so much for this info!!
