I found this site while looking for decorating ideas. It has neat stuff at good prices. Has anyone ordered from this site? TIA

They have mercury glass containers (vases, candle holders, etc), glass bell jars, clotches, birdcages, etc.

I'm the OP. I did some on-line research and this company has very mixed reviews. Good prices but things arrive broken, etc. Think I'll pass and check out my local craft stores for the items I want.

I purchased this a couple years ago and put a flameless candle in it. Being metal, breakage wasn't an issue. The only thing I found is that their shipping was high for my one item.

Nana, Saveoncrafts has been discussed here a few times. They have wonderful choices and good prices. When some other posters went to order items though, they said the shipping was so high, that it killed the deal for them. That is what I remember about the company. If their shipping wasn't so high, it would be a great resource. HTH!

Thanks everyone. That bird cage is adorable and could be decorated in so many ways.

I didn't even check out the shipping costs. I will look in my local craft stores. I hate high shipping costs.

I've ordered from them twice, a couple of years ago. Each time the shipping was around $15, which is way more than I like to pay. At the time, they happened to have just what I was looking for and at good prices, including the shipping, so I went for it. I've ordered a birdcage lamp, two types of twig bird nests, and a set of ceramic birds. The ceramic birds had major flaws, and the company sent out a new set free of charge without my having to return the flawed set. All it took was a quick phone call.

I have purchased many items from them over the years. Nothing has ever arrived broken. I have been very happy with them.

Thanks for the good reviews of the site. i may reconsider and place an order.

Reconsidered but DIDN'T place an order. Shipping would have cost more than $50 and that was the cheapest option. In defense of the company, I did have a lot of breakable glass in my order and it was coming the whole way across the country. I'll just look for local stores that have the items I want.
