Anyone Order Northern Nights TSV today?

I emailed the Q a few days ago asking why their sheetsets get so many bad reviews - as I was ready tobuy. This morning, I turned on the Q and they had their 400 TC, wrinkle defense, all cotton sheetsets with embroidery. I ordered 1 cream and 1 sterling (slver). I have 3 other sets like this that I purchased several years ago from the Q - and they're gorgeous. Anyone else order?

I am thinking about it. I've had other NN sheets, but not the Wrinkle Defense. How soft are these?

Not me...

I'm hoping that the Malden Mills polar fleece set with 2 extra pillow cases will be restocked soon (H196886). I got the sage last year and wished I got a couple of other sets...

Re: Anyone Order Northern Nights TSV today?

I'd like to order but I've been disappointed in the quality of NN the past few years . Two sets bought a year apart , lost their dye color in the washing machine . One was very soft when I opened the package ; after 1 washing in cold water , the dye disappeared in numerous dinner-plate sized splotches and the fabric felt rough ( short threads ? ) . The other set lost areas of dye after a few washings , plus a few months past the return date . .........from now on I'm only buying Supima and preferably at a local store . If the Q offers Supima cotton from other than NN ( or if NN improves ) I'll buy thru them again . .........I'm also concerned over the chemicals used in the anti-wrinkle process . They never fully explain it during presentations , or mention if it's safe / natural , etc.

I agree as many years ago I bought NN sheets and had many problems. I got "burned" so badly, it's not worth it to even try NN sheets again.

What a shame as it has stuck with me and I've moved on to better brands.

I haven't had luck with NN in the last 5 years or so. I have 7 or 8 sets from before then I rotate. A couple of them need to be retired, but the others' are in good shape. The TSV looks nice, but the colors don't work for me. I usually buy sea glass, chocolate or white.

No I have several NN from the past and also Malden Mills that are still good. I considered ordering a set for a shower gift but the bride has requested white not ivory so I will pass.

Re: Anyone Order Northern Nights TSV today?

ccj: These NN sets are exactly like my 3 other sets that I purchased 5 years ago without the embroidery (which are all still perfect after many washings) --- they feel silky and beautiful to the touch - luxurious. I also love that they're oversized - so easy to put on the bed. I don't need any more sheetsets- but I couldn't resist these. Once in a while, I need to treat myself. The prices of sheetsets in the stores have gone up so much and the quality has gone down --- so this is a real bargain. Any problems, just return it.

No, I don't need any sheets. If I did, I wouldn't have bought those. I thought the color selection was horrible.
