Do you know of an "E-Z" install shed that takes minimal time and effort?

Re: Anyone Know about SHEDS?

Are you looking for an outbuilding? She Shed?

How large/tall will usually determine the foundation type. Most you can "install" on a level bed of gravel or slag. The dealer should be able to help you figure what's best.

Check with zoning, first to see if you need a permit in your area.

Re: Anyone Know about SHEDS?

My husband and I built one for my sister.  I read the directions and explained how to put the panels together and he did the work.  I sometimes helped him hold things in place until he could secure the panels.  It was easy.

However, before we assembled the shed, my DH had to build a foundation.  He leveled the ground and then built a wooden raised floor.  You do need a level foundation to put the shed on and secure it.  It would not be wise to just set it on the ground.

@Carmie  Is absolutely correct on a foundation. We put up one of these sheds also and that was the most important step. After that it was a breeze to build.

Re: Anyone Know about SHEDS?

Around here "shed" is not something to be discounted.

A friend and his wife bought more land and had a new house built when the kids were grown and he deemed a better shed to be needed too.

That sucker shows up on google and is at least twice the size of the house. Several rolling doors and the end is divided into two heated tool rooms and a full bath 😂.  A couple of years ago a sub-shed (not heated) was required so the new combine wouldn't have its paint scratched.  Boy you have to keep on a eye on a guy.

Re: Anyone Know about SHEDS?

Our backyard shed was constructed off site and delivered to our home.  It is a company called Leonard.  It was well priced and they could match the paint color to our home.  HTH

I don't know of that brand but years ago we purchased 3 Rubbermaid sheds in two different sizes and they are still standing and in good shape. Home Depot.

Re: Anyone Know about SHEDS?

We bought a shed that is now my she-shed. It's not that big, 12 x 20 feet. It's my place to go, since DH and I are both retired. And since we're Sheltering in Place right now, I go out there to watch TV or read a good book. The shed has electricity, cable, and internet.

We bought the shed and then did the foundation and all the interior work ourselves. The inside is now completely finished and we're waiting on nicer weather to start landscaping the area, staining the deck, etc. I spend a lot of time there.

Thank you @proudlyfromNJ Sure! We bought our shed from Sheds Unlimited, down around Morgantown, PA.

If you google Sheds Unlimited, you'll see a link to their site. Run down their first page to Read a Customer Story. Our story is there: Pam's Backyard She Shed: Her Relaxation Haven. That's my husband and me. (I'd give you a link, but it would get deleted)

We are so pleased with the company. They did everything in their power to make sure eveything was exactly how I wanted it.

When we finished the interior, we sent pictures down to the company; they liked them so much, they wanted to publish our story. And when warmer weather comes to central PA and we won't be Sheltering, they want to come up to do a photo shoot.

I'm truly just thrilled with my she shed!
