@Kachina624   I agree with you.  I have at least one antique in every room.  I don't like only antiques but do love to mix them.

Oh my....well I'm sorry you get creeped out.  Sometimes old dolls are a bit creepy....but for me it's probably from watching that Talking Tina episode on Twilight Zone!

@Kachina624  I agree.  I'm not really an antique-seeker, but I have some very old family pieces around, and they do add character.  As long as I know where they come from, I'm ok.

My husband and I collected antiques back in the 70's and 80's when it was a popular past time. I have mostly large furniture pieces and do have those pieces mixed with more up to date furniture in my home. I think the large antique mirrors are creepy too and I don't care for old photos or portraits of people I don't know. I have not come across an antique bedroom suite that I would want in my home.
