Boy yes they have been inundating the schedule with these. Must be another high profit margin setup.

They have a high profit margin on cosmetics and clothing too, I don't think that is the main reason.
IMO the reasons they are having the gardening shows are...its a popular hobby, it was the number one leisure activity not long ago, I do not know if it is any longer... and it's just that time of year...people are planning and planting now.
I am not a fan of these all day fiestas no matter what the product. They become redundant after the 6th hour.

I've ordered their hanging strawberries and tomato plants - both huge fails. I know they offer a guarantee, but who's going to bother? I've never had a problem with my local Lowes or local nursery. How do you kill 6+ tomato plants?? In the Midwest, no less!! No more mail order plants for me. Very disappointing.
I shop locally too..I have never had luck with CF or Roberta's. IMO Roberta's is the worst.

I like the shows too. Q only runs them late-Winter to early-Spring. After that, they're gone for another year. Doesn't seem like it should be such a hardship. Admittedly I can find many of the items and plants locally but others may not be so lucky.

Programming is too boring to me to watch, looking forward to the Beauty Report and the List later on HSN.

Judging from the products being sold (checked the guide) they must be hitting the bottom of the barrel today. It's funny many of the Cottage Farms and Roberta's plant items don't get good reviews, but they are back every year. Would love to see some other plant nursery vendors on.........
