Well, batten down the hatches, because the oft repetitive Q has also planned a day of Wen on Saturday and another More-Than-A-Blender marathon on Sunday. I won't be watching either day... They really need some new material. The old act has grown very stale.

Yes, spring is in the air, but that really needn't mean endless gardening shows, featuring endless presentations from the same two vendors that've been featured, seemingly, since the beginning of time. QVC needs to learn how to mix it up.

double ugh!

Really? This sounds awful, but it must be worth it for QVC or it wouldn't be taking place.

I don't mind watching the gardening shows but not planting much with water restrictions in our state.

I don't know... their financials don't appear to be screaming 'success', but no, it's hardly a hardship... I simply don't watch. There's lots to do that doesn't involve QVC... It's just that their programming, especially their weekend programming, has, more times than not, gotten to be somewhat of a standing joke... featuring an endless rotation of the same ten or so brands... Their choice, just as it's our whether to watch or not...

Love the gardening shows. Until the summer actually gets here, there will likely be more of them.

Re: Another 24 Hour Gardening Event?!?

The all-day programming, no matter the product lineup, is now happening multiple times per week and month. Some programs I prefer to watch more than others, but for those who thought the business model might shift with the departure of Claire Watts, the frequency of these marathons is proving otherwise.

It's called selling infomercial air time to vendors. BORING. Not watching or buying. As long as QVC's parent co. doesn't care things won't change.

Triple ugh! A whole day of anything is way too much. I work from home and have QVC on my PC as background noise for my pets. I will switch to HSN on those days.

Re: Another 24 Hour Gardening Event?!?

I actually enjoy the "outdoor" shows. What I don't like is the 1/2 hour they spend every other hour on the special value. Way too long imo. To me it's a nice break from the hours and hours of make-up and fashion, but that's just me. We all have different likes and that is a good thing.

I don't care for garden day either.

I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend, til death, your right to say it
