Just a poll, no judgements or arguments about it, and no right or wrong answer.
I do think they come and go (like all fashion and decor) but seem to have been back 'in' for quite some time now.
For me, nay.

I have some fluffy animal throws and pillows

Well, I've always liked the look of an aloof cat draped across the arm of a sofa to be appealing

I think a small accent or two, in animal print, look great in the right place. My home is mainly traditional, with some transitional pieces thrown in. During the winter months, I bring out a faux leopard throw that I place across the arm of one of my living room chairs.
I like it. It's a nice, interesting change. When my daughter got married, I removed it from the chair when the photographer was taking the pictures, and he asked that I put it back. The pictures were lovely.
So, I say "yay" on one or two accent pieces. "Nay" on a whole room or house full, lol.

Somehow it just doesn't seem to go with my Southwest decor.

Does it count it you use a real animal? LOL

I like animal print with some types of furniture but I think a little goes a long way. It doesn't work in my home though. We do have a live animal running around in here, a Yorkie. :-)

I can't help but have animal print - the hound dogs leave them everywhere! But really, I could see an accent pillow here or there. I'm certainly not opposed to it. Patterns of all sorts, I find pretty.
